March along with thousands of participants in highlights from the 2016 march through the streets of San Francisco. This annual march honors the Selma, Alabama to Montgomery, Alabama marches and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and goes from San Francisco's Caltrain Station to Yerba Buena Gardens. The 1.5 mile journey crosses the Lefty O'Doul Bridge and stops at Willie Mays Plaza at AT&T Park to commemorate the crossing of the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma, a symbol of violence and victory in the civil rights movement. Filmed and edited at the 2016 March by volunteers Elysa Chao, Ben Cruz, and Ronan Morrison from Google for the Northern California Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Foundation (NORCAL MLK Foundation).
